How long have you been playing derby?
One year-ish
How did you get started playing derby?
I moved here, didn't know anybody and wanted to try something new with my free time. I saw an ad for fresh meat bootcamp and decided to try it!
What's your favorite thing about it?
My favorite thing about derby is (legally) hitting people :) <3
How did you pick your derby name/number?
I hit the deadline to pick a derby name when I needed to get insurance and picked from a list of female spies. My sister said Jinx was the best choice and I agreed.
What's your proudest accomplishment on the track?
Any time I learn something new and have fun doing it :) <3 (also hitting someone out with my hip as soon as they tried to skate past me on the line)
What's your gnarliest injury?
Tore a tendon in the back of my knee that mostly gets torn when someone gets in a car crash and their whole knee gets busted up but all i did was fall.... 💔
How would you describe your derby playing style?
Trying to remember what just happened the whole time.
What are your goals for the season?
Have fun, learn, and get better!
What do you like to do in your free time?
Hike, sometimes read, sometimes puzzle, watch reality TV.
